Abstract
The tattoo is approached starting from the use that a parlêtre makes of it, the way he makes use of it or how he can be damaged by inscribing his skin. This type of marks that has had very different millenary uses in the different cultures, invades bodies in the times of the Other that does not exist. The proposal is to be able to read the tattoo as a sign, beyond an epoch or a sector, taking as a starting point what reading implies for Lacanian-oriented psychoanalysis.
