In this work a bibliographic search is done with the goal to emphasize some theoretic references about the notion of sign on Lacan’ s teaching and to reference its use in ordinary psychosis clinics. Starting with a brief revision of the meaning of sign on Lacan´s teaching it will allow to formulate the hypothesis that what is discreet on ordinary psychosis is not necessary related to its intensity or tone but by its congruence with the real.
